Sony and Microsoft are throwing sales as often as the winds change these days, so when Nintendo throws one of its rare sales does one become newsworthy. The latest batch of discounts from The Big N drops a handful of Nintendo 3DS and Wii U eShop titles by at least 30 percent.

Games purchased through the sale also nab buyers My Nintendo Gold Points. See the partial list of options below. The full list of roughly 40 games can be found on Nintendo's official website.

Wii U
  • Mario Kart 8
  • Mario Party 10
  • Tekken Tag Tournament 2
  • Mario Tennis: Ultra Smash
  • DuckTalse Remastered
  • Wii U Party
  • SteamWorld Dig
  • Teslagrad
  • Nintendo 3DS
  • Mario Kart 7
  • Story of Seasons
  • Zero Escape: Virtue's Last Reward
  • Code Name S.T.E.A.M.
  • SteamWorld Dig
  • Shin Megami Tensei IV
  • Mario & Luigi: Dream Team
  • Paper Mario: Sticker Star
  • Mario Tennis Open
  • So, nothing I'm too inclined to pick up. SteamWorld Dig is a fabulous game, and I can't recommend it enough. Shin Megami Tensei IV is also one of the most robust JRPGs you'll find anywhere, let alone on the Nintendo 3DS.

I might have picked up Story of Seasons, but Stardew Valley recently came into my life, and I have no need for any more farming games. Ever again, possibly. I'll probably just stick to Virtue's Last Reward since I wouldn't mind having a digital copy alongside my physical one. Makes it easier to carry around.

Anything you see pique your interest?
