Tranquil Hosting announces the launch of its newest data center in Chennai, India. The company's latest addition offers customers entry into India and surrounding countries in Southern Asia. It is available to its customers now.
Chennai, formerly known as Madras, is located on the Coromandel Coast, off the Bay of Bengal. This location not only offers entry to the growing number of Indian internet users, tech companies and related enterprises, but the rest of Asia with Tier 1 connectivity. Carriers with connectivity to Tranquil Hosting's Chennai data center include TATA/VSNL, Reliance, and Bharti (Airtel). Peering agreements with NIXI offer low-latency access in the country and in South Asia.
