Fort Payneâs âAlabamaâ hosting fan appreciation events June 24-26
HUNTSVILLE, Ala. - The legendary country music group "Alabama" no longer holds its June Jam in Fort Payne, but that doesn't stop the boys in the band from showing some love to their fans. This is Fan Appreciation Week. Jeff Cook, Randy Owen and Teddy Gentry are taking a few days off the road from their Southern Drawl Tour to be in Fort Payne.
Friday night, Jeff and the All Star GoodTime Band will do a concert at the historic DeKalb Theatre. Doors open at 5. The show starts at 7. Tickets are 20 dollars. Click on this link to Jeff's website to find out how to get them.
Saturday, Randy Owen will host Fandemonium at his Adamsburg farm on Lookout Mountain. Gates open at 11 a.m. The show is now scheduled to begin around 7 when the weather cools off a little. Tickets are 20 dollars at the gate unless you're a 2016 member of the Randy Owen Fan Club. You'll need to bring your receipt.
And finally, Sunday at the Alabama Fan Club and Museum, the boys will do a private concert for current fan club members at 2 pm. Tickets are 20 dollars and there's a limited number of them. You have to have your current membership number to buy one or you can purchase a membership to the fan club and then buy tickets to the show.
