Kroger hosting "round-up" for Hurricane Matthew victims
Can you spare a few pennies to aid in the relief effort for Hurricane Matthew?
Kroger Grocery Stores are hosting a "round-up" to help Hurricane Matthew victims.
Kroger is asking customers to give money to benefit the victims of Hurricane Matthew by "rounding up" their purchases to the nearest dollar, or by making a cash donation when they visit their local Kroger.
Customers' donations will go to the American Red Cross's efforts to aid victims of the hurricane.
"Kroger customers are very compassionate and always willing to help those in need," said Glynn Jenkins, director of communications for Kroger's Atlanta Division. "Each contribution will allow the Red Cross to provide assistance to the victims of this devastating storm. We ask that our customers come together as we 'round-up' support for victims and help provide assistance for the relief efforts."
Kroger will begin accepting donations on Tuesday, Oct. 11. The round-up will run through Saturday, October 22.
Visit Kroger's website to find a location near you.
