Polish Web Hosting Company H88 Raises €5.5M
H88, a Poznan, Poland – based web hosting solutions company, owner of the Hekko brand, closed a €5.5m round of funding.
3TS Capital Partners made the investment.
The company intends to use the funds to accelerate growth by launching of new products, developing additional services and making new acquisition opportunities in Poland.
Founded in 2002 by Jakub Dwernicki, CEO, and later merged with three established web hosting companies, H88 currently provides domain hosting and a portfolio of other hosting services such as shared hosting, VPS, managed VPS, dedicated servers, colocation services and cloud hosting. The company also supports its SME and individual clients with services such as SSL certification, backups, website creator tools and e-marketing services.Next to the main brand Hekko, services are also offered under Ogicom, Biznes-Host, SuperHost and Domeny.pl brands.
In parallel to the funding round, the company announced the acquisition of Domeny.pl, another web hosting services provider in Poland.
