Automatic SSL by Comodo
It has always been a pain to activate SSL protection without affecting your site. However, this new app allows the site owners to automatically get the SSL certifications without needing much efford. SSL certification, an important security mechanism in web publishing, has been a major innovation.
CPanel, a web hosting platform with 72 million active domains worldwide, has launched AutoSSL to automatically generate SSL certificates for web hosting partners' web sites.
AutoSSL; It is accessible to all customers running cPanel and WHM's 60th or later versions. In November, 5.8 million certificates reached customers. To extend the certification scale and secure 240,000 websites per day, cPanel has selected Comodo, the certificate provider (CA), which has already secured over 38 million fully qualified domain names (FQDNs).
"Fire and forget"
AutoSSL; An automation feature included in cPanel and WHM's 60th and later versions. It automatically finds and distributes Domain Certified (DV) cPanel SSL certifications for all web sites, login pages and endpoints in the server.
In addition to protecting AutoSSL websites, it enables encryption in places like cPanel or WHM where SSL is sort of needed. This includes logging in as an administrator, including emails and internal services. At the same time AutoSSL is also renewing certifications that expire. Protecting privacy, security and trust for Web sites is now possible with the principle of "fire and forget".
