For those who ever wanted a chance to check out an oil refinery, BP is making it happen at Cherry Point.

The company is hosting an open house 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sept. 29 at 4519 Grandview Road.

Bus tours, displays and a picnic lunch will be available during the free event. According to BP's website, no pets, cameras or children under the age of 10 are allowed. Registration is required – the event is limited to 445 people.
