Chris Turvil Describes How Trainline Got 800X More Agile by Moving to AWS
To learn more about how AWS can help host your web and mobile apps in the cloud, visit our websites and website hosting details page here – http://amzn.to/2gz73xl.
After migrating to AWS, Trainline is 800X more agile, supporting up to 150 releases per week, and is saving $1.5 million annually. Trainline is Europe's largest rail ticket retailer, enabling 100,000 journeys every day. After completing the migration from its on-premisis data center, Trainline is all in on AWS. Since migrating, the company has experienced a 60% reduction in downtime, and Oracle Exadata runs 10% faster. Chris Turvil, Head of Cloud and Platform Agility, spoke onstage at re:Invent 2016.
