GARY Lineker has vowed to ignore web trolls and continue sharing his views on Twitter.
GETTY
The Match Of The Day host has admitted he finds it "irritating" when he is attacked online.
He has previously been labelled a "traitor" over his views on Britain.
The former Barcelona and Spurs striker, 56, said: "Twitter gives me quite a large platform so if I feel strongly about something, I'll say it.
"I get more negative reaction than I've ever had in my life, but I also get more positive reaction."

Gary LinekerLineker added: "I'd like to think I have a conscience. I do care about this country.
"The most irritating thing I get labelled is a traitor because I'm critical of certain things in my country, whereas certain people portray themselves as patriots when they're actually going against some principles which are important to how we are as a nation."

Last year he faced abuse when he defended child refugees from Calais, who it was claimed were not as young as they said. He told his followers the reaction was "hideously racist".
One of his legion of six million snapped: "Very easy to shout racist mate when you're sitting on a crisp fortune."
