THEY say variety is the spice of life and so it's no surprise the Royal Variety Performance has been entertaining the nation since 1912.
The annual extravaganza will return once again later this year, and here's what we know so far.

The Royal Variety Performance will return on November 24th When is the Royal Variety Performance 2017?The Royal Variety Performance 2017 will take place on Friday, November 24 at the London Palladium Theatre.
It marks a return to the venue after the event moved elsewhere for the last two years.
The Palladium has been home to the Royal Variety Performance more than any other venue, hosting the gala 40 times over the decades.

David Walliams hosted the gala last year Who is hosting the Royal Variety Performance 2017?It is not yet known which famous face will host the Royal Variety Performance this year.
Britain's Got Talent judge and comedian David Walliams presided over the gala last year, and previous hosts have included Brian Conley, Michael McIntyre and Peter Kay.

A senior member of the Royal Family always attends the annual event How can I get tickets to the Royal Variety Performance 2017?Tickets are only available through the official Royal Variety Performance website, but standard tickets for the show have already sold out.
However, you can still purchase combined tickets for the show and aftershow which will be held at the Grosvenor House Hotel on London's Park Lane.
The tickets cost £245 with proceeds going to the Royal Variety Charity.
Tickets to the aftershow party and banquet are also still available, costing £185.
