The event fits under the 2012 OSCE anti-drug concept "in support of the global effort to combat the world drug problem." The Acting Deputy Head of the Academy for International Cooperation explained that the event's primary aim was the scope that law enforcement used to investigate law drug-related crimes. With the growth of internet drug trafficking, police needed to not only become more acquainted with new psychoactive substances, but also the darknet and cryptocurrency.
This is not the first large-scale event where law enforcement gathered to discuss the darknet and online drug trafficking. And, even the so-called "dangers" of Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies have been discussed by international law enforcement—assuming Europol is considered a law enforcement agency.

"To date, some 30,000 Israeli travelers have stayed multiple days, sometimes weeks, with multiple hosts," Yaron explained. "They particularly appreciate that someone friendly and somewhere safe is waiting for them and the uniqueness of Chiburim is that they always provide the host's contact details for free."
Indeed, travelers have expressed that sentiment.
"It makes me feel so relaxed to get to Australia and know that someone will be there for me," said Galit.
"We are great supporters of Chiburim and stay with as many families as possible," said Nadav, another traveller. "We truly appreciate the approach of Chiburim in not charging money from Israeli travelers to contact hosts."
Chiburim asks hosts to provide a warm welcome and accommodation, although they may choose to ask for a small donation to help with costs. Hosts with existing commercial accommodation are asked to give a discount to Israeli travelers. The guests value the fact that neither the Chiburim network nor the hosts are seeking to make profit from them.
For many the atmosphere of warmth and hospitality can be truly touching since so many around the world would not welcome Israelis.
"At a certain point I noticed that while you were playing the guitar and singing, all five of us were completely happy," Arik told his hosts. "Maybe it's thanks to the heavenly environment around, maybe it's thanks to you, maybe all of us together and for sure thanks to God!"
Similarly, hosts also benefit from the rich cultural experience.
"Hosting is a great way to learn about Israel and its people," one host reported. "It has given me a better understanding of the Old Testament and at the same time, made many new friends."
Another family said that "The God of Israel has placed a real love of Israel and its people in our hearts."
"As far as we are concerned, it is very much a two way street. Yes we do offer them a place to stay and maybe food or whatever, but in return we have been blessed in many ways. When people live in your home, you build much stronger friendships than in normal circumstances. They become kind of like family, and as a result of this we now have many families in Israel where we can stay."
Other families have felt that they are fulfilling a Biblical mandate to love and bless Israel and be blessed in return, according to Genesis 12:3, "I will bless those who bless you."

The Web.com Tour announced Monday a new tournament set to debut on the annual schedule in 2018. The Savannah Golf Championship, which will be contested at the Deer Creek course at The Landings Club, will be held the week of March 26 – April 1, 2018, with 156 players competing for a $550,000 purse. A five-year deal is in place through 2022.
The announcement was made on Monday morning at a press conference adjacent to the Deer Creek clubhouse, with Web.com Tour President Dan Glod, The Landings Club Executive Director Steven Freund, Savannah Chamber of Commerce President & CEO Bill Hubbard, Chatham County Commission Chairman Al Scott and Savannah Mayor Eddie DeLoach in attendance.
"We are excited to bring the Web.com Tour to Savannah because we believe in this market," Glod said in a statement. "This is a vibrant city that has a strong passion and history with the game of golf, and we look forward to working with the community and local businesses to grow this tournament on and off the course."
The Landings Club is a 4,500-acre private community with over 8,500 residents and six golf courses. Deer Creek, was originally built by Tom Fazio in 1991, with the famed architect returning in 2009 to modernize the course via an expansive restoration.
The course plays in and out of dense forests with several holes abutting the scenic marsh wetlands, which are an offshoot from the nearby Skidaway River.
"The Landings Club's members and associates are excited about this new relationship with the PGA Tour and Web.com Tour. The Savannah Golf Championship at The Landings Club will be a great experience for our members and all golf fans in the Low Country, and I am confident our members and staff will partner with the tour to deliver an experience that becomes a tour favorite," The Landings Club Executive Director Steven Freund said in a statement. "This tournament will test the skills of the rising stars in the professional ranks and expose many others to the remarkable golf experience at The Landings Club on one of our six Championship golf courses."
The greater Savannah/Hilton Head Island, S.C. area is no stranger to PGA Tour golf, with the RBC Heritage presented by Boeing celebrating 50 years at Harbour Town Golf Links in 2018, and the Liberty Mutual Legends of Golf contested at the nearby The Club at Savannah Harbor from 2003-13.

BAIJIU malware abused Japanese web hosting service
Cylance researchers spotted a phishing campaign dubbed "BAIJIU" that looks to capitalize on those curious about the hermit kingdom of North Korea.
While the goal of the campaign is unclear, researchers said the group behind the attacks has been linked to long-term espionage activities in the past, according to a May 12 blog post.
The victims are lured with an email offering insight about a natural disaster that caused massive flooding in 2016 playing upon interest in news from North Korea. The email is used to deploy a set of cyberespionage tools through a downloader dubbed "TYPHOON" and a set of backdoors dubbed "LIONROCK."
Researchers said the unusual complexity of the attack, the appropriation of the GeoCities web hosting service, and the use of multiple methods of obfuscation drew their attention to the campaign which they say has evaded nearly every legacy AV and NextGen AV solution on the market.
Geocities is a free service owned by Yahoo which does not require users to identify themselves beyond providing a Yahoo email address making it an attractive service for threat actors.
The malware takes advantage of Geocities JP for free high-bandwidth unattributable hosting and uses simple tricks to defeat emulation and automated analysis, making the malware unique, Cylance Director of Threat Intelligence Jon Gross told SC Media.
"The infection vector is complicated and used to deliver payloads with pinpoint accuracy while making it more difficult for researchers and unintended targets to receive the final payloads," Gross said.
The malware uses a custom obfuscation method that appears to have not been picked out by heuristics.
"Obfuscated strings can end with an arbitrary number of @'s and an arbitrary amount of junk characters can be inserted into the beginning of the strings as well," Gross said "In addition simple 1byte XOR with variable length byte shifts have also been observed."
He added that the malware has been successful because it the AntiVirus detection methods haven't seen the activity and threat patterns before.
Researchers said the CYPHOON/LIONROCK's provenance is likely Chinese, and that it probably evolved from the Egobot codebase and is subsequently connected to the larger Dark Hotel Operation.
"BAIJIU's circuitous route from LNK file to LIONROCK backdoor through multiple DLL files and PowerShell scripts – and its ability to obfuscate itself through each stage while doing so – makes this attack stand out," the post said. "BAIJIU attackers likely employed this strategy to throw researchers and investigators off their track, and ensure only the targeted victims received the payloads."
